Space-based shooters are some of the most popular games and NIGHTSTAR offers up a classical edge that will certainly appeal to fans of this genre. Users will face a number of progressive challenges as they do battle with alien hordes.
A Retro Gaming Appeal
NIGHTSTAR has been designed to embrace the retro feel of games associated with the late 1990s and the early 2000s. However, the main difference is that players will be required to use a VR headset and hand-held controllers in order to navigate from location to location. There are eight levels to explore and each one is more challenging than the last. Enemies must be vanquished, obstacles need to be negotiated and of course, power-up items are available along the way.
Graphics and Fluid Movements
Highly intuitive controls and a streamlined GUI provide the player with all of the skills that he or she requires to emerge victorious. Other features include "smart" enemies which are able to adapt to the movements of the user and a soundtrack inspired by musical hits from the 1980s.
